The WIN Awards The WIN Awards 13

Performers

Women's Image Network (WIN) employs the media to create advocacy programs that advance the political, social and economic status of women. According to the United Nations, the United States ranks 37th in gender equality among the world's 42 most highly developed nations. The US ranks 64th globally in gender equality with a 19 percent wage gap between male and female full-time workers.
In addition to producing several community programs, each year WIN creates The WIN Awards, an annual media advocacy event which endorses artists and media promoting opportunity for women everywhere.

Elizabeth TaylorLetter from Dame Elizabeth, 2010

"I am honored to be recognized by the Women's Image Network tonight. I applaud the work of Phyllis Stuart in promoting gender parity and fostering creative opportunity throughout our industry.

I have been fortunate throughout my career, but never more so than when I was able to use my fame to raise funds and awareness for the HIV/AIDS crisis, work which remains my singular focus. I am touched to be included among WIN's honorees and so gratified to know my efforts are appreciated.

Although I am not able to join you for tonight's awards ceremony, please know I am with you in spirit. Each and every one of you here tonight is making a generous contribution to our community. Through your courage to act and your willingness to share, you provide a vital, effective link for women and girls throughout our industry. I am grateful for this honor, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,
Eizabeth Taylor"

"Hi Phyllis,
Thank you so much for the WIN AWARD! Since Colette Burson couldn't be there to accept in person (again, my apologies), we had a mini-presentation here in the office with all of the writing staff. She even gave an acceptance speech. The statue is beautiful and is displayed in the writers' room. We've posted a picture of the 'acceptance' on the HUNG Twitter Feed:

Again, thank you so much and we look forward to next year.

Suzanne Roberts"Dear Phyllis,
Thank you for selecting me to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. I shall treasure it more than anything else I've ever received. What a wonderful success WIN was! Much thanks to you and to those you chose to work with you. The red carpet cameras were almost blinding. It sure made one feel super special, plus the interviews made one feel (super-duper) special! The food, (Well, I ate 2 1/2 portions). Our seats were perfect. And the show went off without a hitch... or glitch. The young comedian [Wendy Liebman] was perfectly adorable, and everyone else was too. With warmest greetings and hoping to see you in the near future.
Thankfully,"

Sasha Alexander Rizzoli and Elizabeth Allen Ramona"Dear Phyllis - What a treat Tuesday was. I had no idea that the whole event would be that swank. And the show itself was incredibly polished and funny. One of my best friends, Sasha Alexander was there and we laughed because she and I have known each other for 15 years (I used to photograph her in all my little projects at film school as my muse...) so we had a blast celebrating how life has taken us so far together!"

Janet Tamaro Rizzoli"Dear Phyllis:
Thank you so much for an incredible event and the honor of this beautiful award. It's front and center next to a shared WGA award in my office, but frankly, I like the WIN trophy better. Gorgeous statuette.
Thanks again for all the effort you've put in to make this such a wonderful event.
My best--"

"Dear Phyllis,
I just wanted to thank you so much for having us teleprompt for your SPECTACULAR AWARD SHOW! What an amazing group of people you put together in one room. So many people truly love what you do and are so appreciative of your work and the passion you have for the WIN network.
It was an honor to be part of this event. I know you had reservations in hiring us due to your past experiences with the teleprompter. I hope we met and went above your prompter expectations. Per our first phone conversation a few weeks back I had mentioned I built my company on the premise I wanted to be the best there is in the prompter world. There were so many companies who really don't care if the clients would call them back. Prompt Response cares. We just want our talent to look and be at their very best and not have to worry about the teleprompter. I hope you will also be one of our long term clients. We loved working for your foundation and it was a true honor to work with you. I know Wendy and all the other presenters were extremely happy with Kelli and I. We ran into Sally Kirkland in the parking lot on the way out and she hugged and kissed us for the work we did. That made my day, my night, my month and my year. I love her!
Thank you again Phyllis for everything. Have a wonderful day and hope you get some rest".
Sincerely,
Susan Steinkamp, President, Prompt Response
